Phoning It In →

Landry called for maybe the fourth time that day. Landry is a good operator. She gives a big fig about everything, even stuff that isn’t worth a fig. She gave me this long and involved story about a huge slight that was inflicted on her operation by some other entity someplace, and I was looking out the window and thinking, whoa, look at that BMW Z8.

mental_floss on tumblr: Why Senator Joe McCarthy... →
mentalflossr:
You probably know that the American classic It’s a Wonderful Life teaches us that no man is a failure if he has friends. But did you also know that the film irked Senator Joe McCarthy so much that he wanted it banned?

Day 13 - Dylan's biopsy results = nothing abnormal
Not exactly an anti-climax but definitely confusing. So we still don’t have a diagnosis. Hopefully we’ll have some guidance next week when the vets meet to figure out what to do and whether Dylan should go back on to chemo. Until then he’s continuing on Prednisolone, Tramadol, Omeprazole and Antepsin plus loads of cuddles & fuss.

Day 12 - Still waiting for biopsy results
Hating the waiting. Dylan seems fine. A bit dopy from the Tramadol but otherwise his normal rambunctious self.

Day 11 - Dylan off chemo but still waiting for...
He’s had his tablets this morning and is very much his normal self. 14st of affection, 37 inches at the shoulder and hairy, very hairy. Didn’t get the results yesteryear so we’re ‘phoning High Croft later on. The uncertainty is frustrating and worrying so we’re trying calm acceptance.
