Dylan on chemo - only one wake up call last night (banana chips?)

After what seems like months of being woken up 2-3 times a night by the big fella because he needs a pee (side effect of prednisolone), last night was limited to just one scratch at the bedroom door at 2.30 a.m.

As a treat and to boost his potassium levels, we gave him some dried banana chips after his antepsin last night. This was the only thing we did differently so we’re hoping this might be the secret to getting some decent sleep - for Dylan and us - so cross your fingers.

2nd biopsy today. Dylan had his hip shaved again and this time a bone sample, some soft tissue and marrow were taken.
Hopefully, we will have the diagnosis on Friday and be able to workout whether he should be taken more than the prednisolone, lozec, antepsin and tramadol he’s on at the moment.
Yet again, Dylan endeared himself to the vet’s medical staff, deciding that pushing his head in the sink would get him fed faster and ensuring he got ‘treats’ from the nurses in exchange for a nudge.
